LEO RETORTS

Blasting Blog Comments

I received an e-mail on October 18th from our buddy, Leo Coughlin, who said the following:

“You have the following posted on your blog and this is to inform you that it erroneously is attributed as appearing on the news web site I edit, LeoReports (www.leoreports.com). Because it is falsely attributed and you may not know this from an anonymous poster, you would be well advised to remove immediately any connection of this with LeoReports. I understand that, in editing an influential news web site that thousands of people in the area depend on for news, there will be criticism directed my way and this is fine. But please don't post material falsely attributed to the LeoReports news web site.”

Technically, IRBeHEARD is NOT REQUIRED to do squat about what Coughlin claims to be an erroneous posting. According to Section 230 of Title 47 of the United States Code: “No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.”

IRBeHEARD prides itself on the fact that posted comments are not censored in any way, shape or form. However, we certainly don’t want to hurt the reputation or credibility of such an influential news source, so we deleted it. Apologies to whoever posted it for doing so. If the commenter would care to repost it anonymously, hands off on this end.

Hmmm...Leo is considered the press? Does that mean that IRBTV would fit into the same category? IRBTV is a group of residents who are interested in bringing more transparency to our local government by streaming video of the commission meetings. With the exception of Commissioner Valery, opposition abounds.

P.S. Anyone have any ideas about the identity of the “Private Caller” who called my house on Sunday morning at 5:30 a.m. and hung up.

What an intellectually challenged cry baby! He sure can dish it out, but can’t take it. Because we now know he reads your news site Nancy, and probably gets 90%+ of what he reports from you, know this Leo, when we find the 93 year old lady who beat you up and made you leave town, everyone will know her name. Take your medicine you baby!

Who is this Leo Reports? Who are the locals that spy for him at our meetings?? And why does he report on towns that are not even within driving distance of where he lives? Our state/local newspapers or websites within our area covering our local information is fair and covers all sides. Leo from what I hear doesn't even live in Florida!! So why the cynical intense interest in our small town??
Does anyone know???

Sorry Nancy to be using your blog as a means to reach out to Leo Coughlin, who some may also know as Dan Sullivan. However, it has been brought to my attention that he reads your blog therefore, I’d rather use the blog then to start getting prank calls and hang ups at 3:00 AM. (Did you ever find out who was calling and hanging up on you?)

You know what they say Leo, Dan or is it Cybil, “Idle hands are the devils playground” and “those who live in glass houses should not cast stones”.

You’re just a charlatan to IRB and you really should do some soul searching buddy and get right with God, for it is only he that can help you.

Albest,
Someone who is sincerely praying for you

I heard from one IRB "Observer" that Leo is going to do an interview with IRBTV, that should be fun to watch.

I have heard about this IRB TV but know nothing about it. Can someone tell me the who, what, how, why and when we will be able to watch it? What channel is it on?

When will the Leo interview happen? I heard he has been actively stumping for Obama. Will this be about his support for Obama during this election cycle or about him and his fall from grace?

Actually I hear he is a huge GOP fan. Much like all Right Wingers who will support any candidate that party puts forward, he would promote a turd if it were Republican.

I would like to answer a few of the above questions.

Hopefully you will be able to watch the meetings live on the internet soon. There are a few kinks to work out and we are hoping to have a sound set up good enough so we do not have to rely on plugging into the city's equipment. We will get the word out as much as possible for the inaugural stream.

As far as the info on Leo site.
I have been told about some items on his site that happened when the only people left there were myself and maybe few other people. So it would have to come from someone on the commission or the other people there with me are slamming themselves to Leo?????

There is only one present commissioner that has not been criticized by him in the last FEW years.

Angry Democrat or weakling Independent? I’d suggest you stop blaming everyone else for your misfortunes and take some responsibility for the bad choices you’ve made in life. Stop looking to everyone to solve your problems. Poor choices = poor results. Simple math. By the way, they call it Right for a reason. Right = Right, Wrong = Left = Obama

The blame game goes for everyone, including those who get caught doing wrong and then hide behind someone else to take the fall, its unethical. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. Its convienent to take the credit for the ideas of others and hide when questioned for your own behavior. You seem to be a very angry person, you may want to seek help. Right, Left or Middle is a basic right of freedom; just as believing dinosaurs never existed.

Ideals are just dreams, imaginary empty thoughts without action. Everyone has them. The strong and diligent do something (it’s called work) to realize them. The lazy and weak just keep on dreaming. Sweet dreams!

Palestinian Ibrahim Abu Jayab, 24, is seen next to his computer, in his family house in Nusayrat refugee camp, central Gaza Strip, Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008. A young Palestinian in a Gaza refugee camp is doing his part to get out the vote for Barack Obama. With a little help from the Internet, 24-year-old Ibrahim Abu Jayab is cold calling random American families from his parent's home imploring them to vote Obama.
This pretty much sums it up for me!
Vote Obama!
